It should be obvious that every ecosystem needs a variety of different plants, animals, and other organisms in order to grow and flourish. So, in order to survive and thrive, the earth and its creatures also need diversity. And if diversity is needed, indeed necessary, in nature, then it stands to reason that we also need it in our communities; it is essential to cultural change and growth, as well as enriching to society.
