Here’s a question for you. Are you trustworthy? To put it another way, can you keep a confidence? Did you answer honestly? If you ever repeat what you may have been told in confidence, then you are unreliable, and sooner or later that will become clear, and impinge on your personal relationships. I know that some people will claim that they broke the confidence for some greater good, or that they were not sworn to secrecy. Perhaps an even more important consideration is whether you share such information as gossip or some other salacious way? Trust is so important. Once we break a trust it is difficult, if not impossible, to rebuild that unquestioning trust.
