Knowledge

I have heard it said that youth is wasted on the young. I know that in my teen years (and even into my twenties) I was often described as a know-it-all. Not that I ever thought I needed to stop learning, but because the phrase “I know” passed my lips far too often. And if you think about it, when a person uses those words he or she has already stopped listening to what is being said. We can never know it all. Even the experts that get interviewed on television are only knowledgeable within a very narrow field. So, we should not limit ourselves. Let us have an open mind, and drink freely from the overflowing cup of knowledge.
