Loooking back

When you’re in your nineties and looking back, it’s not going to be how much money you made or how many awards you’ve won. It’s really, what did you stand for. Did you make a positive difference for people?

Elizabeth Dole (born 1936)

It has truly been said that you should not to look back because you are not going that way. But you need to be able to look back in order to see how much you have grown and developed. What this quotation suggests is that you imagine yourself in the future and imagine to yourself what others will think of you because of what you are and what you will have done. Imagine. And be remorseful now, so that you can change the trajectory of your life into something people, and especially your spouse and children, can look up to and admire.
