Tranquility

“Write your injuries in dust, your benefits in marble.”

Author: Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) from Poor Richard’s Almanack

Reflection:  Personal slights – or worse – need only be temporary. They become worse when you dwell on them. The opposite is true of benefits. So when you become discouraged, don’t be deflected by the comments of others, or thoughts of revenge. Remember why you started on the path you are on, and persevere with integrity.
